GUELPH-ERAMOSA – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charge a Waterloo resident with two criminal charges stemming from a two-motor vehicle collision.
On June 4, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP attended the scene of a two-motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 7 within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old woman of Waterloo is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
As a result of the collision, the other driver was sent to local hospital as a precaution with minor injuries.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on June 20, 2025.
