GUELPH There is an ongoing risk of drug poisonings in the community.
The drug poisoning health alert that was issued by the Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy has been updated to a continued rise in incidents in Guelph.
Last week, the drug strategy says there were 8 drug poisoning incidents reported between May 29th to June 3rd.
This week, there have been 9 additional incidents reported between June 4th and 9th.
The drug strategy says this highlights the continued toxicity and unpredictability of the unregulated drug supply currently circulating.
