CENTRE WELLINGTON – Looking ahead to the 2026 budget, staff in Centre Wellington are recommending at least a 2.5 per cent tax increase.
Among recommendations in a report to head before council Monday, it is suggested staff maintain funding in the 2026 Draft Budget process to ensure sufficient Termite Management program funding.
As well, the report recommends an increase in fees and charges for 2026 by 2.5%, other than where pressure on rates indicates an alternate rate change.
