GUELPH – The Guelph Police Service is continuing to investigate and seeking the public’s assistance after a south-end bank was robbed earlier this month.
At approximately 8:40am on June 7, police were called to a bank near Gordon Street and Clair Road. A lone male entered the bank armed with a handgun and stole a quantity of cash. A handgun was left at the scene.
No physical injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male with dark skin, mid- to late-20s, 6’ and wearing a white or grey sweater, black pants, a pink silk mask and a black hat.
Anyone with information or who has dashcam or other video of Brock Road/Gordon Street from Highway 401 to Clair Road that morning between 8-9 a.m. is asked to email the Major Case Unit at mcu@guelphpolice.ca.
