GUELPH – A Guelph man has been charged following a crash early Sunday morning.
At around 2:43 am, Guelph Police received multiple calls regarding a vehicle collision that had occurred just outside the downtown core of Guelph.
Police soon arrived on the scene, finding that the collision involved a single vehicle that had rolled over on its passenger side after striking a hydro pole.
Police say the adult male driver was trapped inside the vehicle.
After emergency services extracted the male from the vehicle, police spoke with him and ultimately failed an Approved Screening Device roadside breath test and was arrested.
A 21-year-old Guelph male has been charged with Operation While Impaired.
The male sustained only minor injuries from the collision.
