WELLINGTON NORTH – Six people were injured following a serious collision near Arthur Monday evening.
At around 7:15 pm, emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 109, just outside of Arthur.
Constable Matthew Burton with Wellington County OPP says it was determined it was a head-on collision, involving two vehicles and multiple injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old from Brampton is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Careless driving causing bodily harm
- Fail to share half roadway – meeting vehicle
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court – Guelph at a later date.
Wellington Road 109 was closed from Sideroad 17 to Charles Street West for the investigation for several hours, but has since been reopened.
