GUELPH-ERAMOSA – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a pedestrian and a transport truck on Wellington Road 124 within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
On July 22, 2025, at approximately 5:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), alongside local emergency services responded to a collision on Wellington Road 124 just east of Wellington Road 29.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team attended the scene and is assisting with the investigation.
As a result of the collision, Wellington Road 124 was closed from Wellington Road 29 to Wellington Road 27. The road has now been reopened as of 1:10 p.m.
