MEDIA RELEASE TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Hey Centre Wellington, have you got talent? Of course you do – lots of it! Here’s your chance to show it off. On Sunday, September 28th, the Fergus Grand Theatre is pleased to present its fourth installment of “Just Play,” an open-stage, all-ages showcase of local talent, starring you! The event is being presented as part of Ontario Culture Days in Centre Wellington.
The theatre is looking for any aspiring singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, actors, stand-up comedians, or anyone else who has something they would like to share. Participants will get 15 minutes of stage time, at no cost, with basic technical support, to showcase whatever they’ve got. Individuals, organizations, and even groups of friends are all welcome to apply. No previous performance experience is necessary, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Content must be suitable for an all-ages audience.
There are three performances throughout the day for performers to choose from: 10am, 2pm, and 7pm. All the performances will be free events, open to all.
Spaces have already begun to fill for all three performances, and applications will remain open until the end of August, or until all spots are filled.
