GUELPH – Following a two-month investigation, members of the Guelph Police Service Major Crime Unit, with support from multiple specialized units, have arrested a suspect in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in south Guelph in early June.
On Tuesday, August 12, officers executed multiple search warrants in Toronto, resulting in the arrest of a 39-year-old Toronto man. A substantial quantity of cash and a luxury vehicle were seized as proceeds of crime.
The accused faces several charges, including robbery and multiple firearms-related offenses. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
