NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating two Break and Enter incidents which occurred on the same street and on the same day. Police are requesting public assistance in identifying the suspect.
On September 4, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a residence on Wellington Road 29, within Guelph-Eramosa Township regarding a Break and Enter occurrence, involving an unknown suspect forcibly entering into an unoccupied residence.
Officers then received a subsequent call, regarding another residence on Wellington Road 29 being entered into while the home owners were away.
Investigators are actively conducting an ongoing investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect. More information will be provided when available.
It is believed that the suspect was in the area between 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
