WELLINGTON COUNTY – After 8 years of service, a Wellington County OPP Canine is officially retiring.
In a post to social media, OPP says Bella is officially retiring and has dedicated her career to:
- Ground search and rescue
- Human remains detection
- Locating missing persons
- Apprehending criminals
- Finding critical evidence
OPP says Bella has worked all across Ontario, alongside other provinces throughout the Country.
“Alongside her handler, Constable Scanlan, they made a difference in countless lives,” police said in a post.
Bella is now living the dream: cottage life, lake swims, and endless games of fetch.
