NEWS RELEASE TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON
CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Township of Centre Wellington is once again thrilled to be participating in Ontario Culture Days, a three-week celebration of arts and culture themed “Canvas of Culture – Celebrating Diversity and Artistic Expression”, reflecting the rich diversity and artistic vibrancy that thrives within Centre Wellington. From September 19 through October 12, 2025, residents and visitors can look forward to over 80 FREE (or “pay-what-you-may”) events that highlight the creativity, dedication, and hard work of local event organizers!
The theme “Canvas of Cultures” was chosen on the basis of the natural beauty surrounding Centre Wellington – the beauty of the Grand River, towering limestone cliffs, historic buildings, and lush agricultural landscapes. Our community offers a unique setting that has long been an inspiration for artists of all forms. It’s no wonder A.J. Casson of the Group of Seven called our village “Ontario’s Most Beautiful”.
In working with the Elora Fergus Arts Council, we’ve brought creativity to life during this three-week celebration of Ontario Culture Days. Together, we’re helping to foster a vibrant, inclusive arts and culture scene that celebrates the spirit of our community.
