NEWS RELEASE TOWN OF ERIN
The Town of Erin is pleased to announce the launch of Fall 2025 Recreation Programs, now open for registration.
This season’s programming offers a variety of opportunities designed to engage residents of all ages, promote health and wellness, and strengthen community connections.
Children and youth can participate in Calm Quest Kids workshops, which focus on building emotional resilience through storytelling, journaling, and interactive activities. Program offerings include a one-day “Managing Big Feelings” session as well as a five-week series dedicated to developing emotional awareness and coping skills. Families may also take advantage of PA Day Camps and Winter Holiday Camps where participants aged 4 to 12 will enjoy creative crafts, seasonal baking, games, and holiday-themed activities.
For those seeking wellness opportunities, the Town will once again offer Yoga and Parent & Tot Yoga classes at the Erin Community Centre, suitable for participants of all levels. In addition, older adults are encouraged to join the VON S.M.A.R.T. (55+) program, a free, instructor-led fitness class that enhances strength, balance, and mobility while encouraging social engagement.
Recreational skating is back this fall! Families, youth, and adults are invited to enjoy a variety of public skates, including Stick & Puck at both the Erin Community Centre and Hillsburgh Community Centre. Full schedules are available online.
“Our goal is to provide programs that meet the diverse needs of our community, whether that means supporting children’s emotional well-being, offering safe and engaging camps, or creating opportunities for residents of all ages to stay active and connected,” said Jessica Stovin, Manager of Recreation and Culture. “We are proud to continue building inclusive and meaningful programs that enrich community life in Erin.”
Registration is currently open. The Community Services Department is available to assist with both in-person and telephone registrations. For further information or to register, please contact the Recreation and Culture team at 519-833-2114 ext. 426 or email recreation@erin.ca.
