NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Brampton resident criminally, stemming from an intimate partner violence investigation.
On September 23, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at an address in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old of Brampton, is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
- Assault – Spousal
- Mischief – Domestic
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
