NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-motor vehicle collision on Brock Road South, near Highway 401.
On October 2, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Wellington County OPP, alongside local emergency services, responded to a report of a two-motor vehicle collision involving a pick-up truck and a tanker truck on Brock Road South, within Puslinch Township.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the pick-up truck, a 50-year-old of London is charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous Operation
- Drive motor vehicle – no licence
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on October 14, 2025.
