ELORA – The Township of Centre Wellington will be conducting Hydrant Flow Testing Monday in Elora.
The township says hydrant flow testing will take place on Geddes Street, between Colbourne and Moir this morning (October 6).
This may cause disruption to the distribution system and will have water running down Geddes St during the test.
If discoloured water is experienced, residents are urged to turn on a cold water tap nearest to their water meter and allow the water to flush slowly for several minutes until it runs clear.
If, after 24 hours, the water still appears discoloured, contact Centre Wellington Infrastructure Services at 519-846-9691 Option #2.
