GUELPH – A Rockwood man has been arrested after a car crashed into a Guelph business during an apparent road rage incident.
Just after 9:30 am on September 11, a Guelph woman reported that another driver became irate and began making rude gestures at her because she did not make a left turn at Woolwich Street and Woodlawn Road as the light had changed to amber.
When the advanced left-turn signal again turned green, police say the other driver aggressively sped around her during the turn before losing control, mounting the curb, and uprooting several metal posts before striking a Guelph business.
The male was transported to the hospital, but left before officers arrived to speak to him.
Yesterday, a 37-year-old Rockwood man was arrested for dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
