TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays have punched their ticket to the World Series.
George Springer delivered a clutch three-run homer in the seventh inning, propelling Toronto to a 4-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series.
With the win, the Blue Jays secured their first World Series appearance in 32 years.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was named MVP of the ALCS for his standout performance throughout the series.
Toronto is set to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 this Friday at Rogers Centre.
