NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – One individual has been charged following a collision with a pedestrian in Elora.
On November 4, 2025, at approximately 2:15 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a pick-up truck in a parking lot on Margaret Street in Elora.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old from Mount Forest is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Careless driving
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Provincial Offences Court – Guelph at a later date.
