NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – Domestic assault investigation in the Township of Guelph-Eramosa results in charge.
On November 7, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a disturbance at an address in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 44-year-old from Guelph-Eramosa Township is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault with a weapon – spousal
There were no reported injuries.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
