WELLINGTON OPP PRESS RELEASE
ERIN – On November 21, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an individual with a firearm near the property of a public school in Erin. The school was placed in a hold and secure as an extra safety measure.
As a result of the investigation, Wellington County OPP have deemed the report to be unfounded.
Police have cleared the area and believe there is no threat to public safety.
