FERGUS – In local PJHL action, the Fergus Whalers got back to their winning ways this past weekend with back-to-back victories over the Kincardine Bulldogs.
Saturday night on the road in Kincardine, the Whalers prevailed by a score of 6 to 4, led by a hat trick by winger Andrew McClure and a 2-assist evening by newcomer Lucas Carson.
Back home in Fergus on Sunday, the Whalers jumped all over the Bulldogs from the opening whistle to post a resounding 11 to 0 victory.
Joey Martin with a 7-point outburst, along with a Jake Lesser hat trick, led the Whaler attack, with Noah Lundgren recording the shutout in the Fergus goal.
The Whalers’ next home game is this Sunday, December 7th, at 3:00 pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.
