GUELPH/ERAMOSA -Guelph/Eramosa residents will see a tax increase of 2.71 per cent in 2026.
Guelph/Eramosa Council approved the budget yesterday afternoon, which totals about $23.4 million in 2026 with a tax increase of $41.82 (2.71%) annually for a home assessed at $500,000.
This doesn’t include the county’s portion of the tax bill.
The capital budget will see around $1.93 million going towards public works and $1.61 million towards parks and recreation.
Last year, Guelph/Eramosa residents saw a 3.79 per cent tax increase.
