CENTRE WELLINGTON – Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Yellow Warning for Snowfall as of 2:08pm on December, 9, 2025.
Heavy snow and local blowing snow expected, with snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm, beginning overnight and ending Wednesday morning or early afternoon. Drivers should expect reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.
An Alberta clipper will bring snow across the area which may be heavy at times beginning overnight. The snow is expected to transition to showers or flurries from southwest to northeast through the day Wednesday.
Lake effect snow squalls are then possible for areas southeast of Lake Huron Wednesday night into Thursday. Additional snowfall accumulation is likely for some locations.
