FERGUS – In local PJHL action, the Fergus Whalers saw their 11-game home winning streak come to an end yesterday afternoon at the hands of the first-place Hanover Barons by a score of 6 to 3.
Liam Eveleigh, with a goal and 2 assists, led the Whaler attack. Forward Justin Ewald’s second-period marker was also his 100th point in his PJHL career.
The two teams face each other again this Friday, December 19th, at 8:30 pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.
