ELORA – You may notice paid parking kiosks being installed throughout Downtown Elora as the Township of Centre Wellington prepares for paid parking to begin on January 5.
Back in May, Centre Wellington council approved the start of a Downtown Paid Parking Program in Elora, introducing two zones:
- Zone 1 for high-turnover parking with a three-hour limit

- Zone 2 for longer stays of up to 24 hours.

The program will see a consistent rate of three dollars per hour, with Zone 2 capped at a daily maximum of fifteen dollars.
Users of parking in the designated zones in Elora will be able to pay online or by using one of the installed Kiosks in the Downtown area to access the online payment site.
Paid parking will run seven days a week, from 9am to 7pm.
Centre Wellington residents can register their licence plates for free parking and in partnership with the Elora BIA, employers will also be able to register one vehicle per employee for free parking in the downtown core.
