CENTRE WELLINGTON– A Waterloo driver is charged following a traffic stop on Wellington Road 17.
On Friday at approximately 7:45 a.m., Wellington County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Wellington Road 17 in Centre Wellington Township, after observing a vehicle travelling more than twice the posted speed limit.
As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old from Waterloo, is charged with:
- Careless driving
- Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed
- Speeding 50+ Km/h over posted limit
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Provincial Offences Court in Guelph at a later date.
