- Mount Forest – Arthur – Northern Wellington County
Gusty winds and icy conditions today.
What: Rapidly falling temperatures resulting in surfaces becoming icy and slippery. Westerly winds gusting 60 to 80 km/h.
When: Strong winds developing this morning and continuing into tonight. Icy conditions this morning.
Additional information: A strong cold front will move through the area this morning. Winds will strengthen and temperatures will rapidly fall below the freezing mark in behind the front.
Travel may become difficult at times. Local utility outages are possible.

Yellow Watch – Snow Squall

Impact Level: Moderate
Forecast Confidence: High
Lake effect snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay expected today.
What: Local snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.
When: This morning through tonight.
Additional information: Winds are expected to shift from west to northwest through the day. As a result, any snow squalls that develop are not expected to remain over any given location for a long period of time. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow will be the primary hazard as opposed to snowfall accumulations.
Travel may be hazardous. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
