FERGUS – In local PJHL action on Friday evening, the Fergus Whalers got back in the win column with an 8-1 victory over the visiting Walkerton Capitals.
The Whalers attack was led by a four-goal performance from Ryan Forwell, with Liam Eveleigh contributing 4 helpers for the victors.
Noah Lundgren stopped 24 of 25 shots in the net for the Whalers.
Next game for Fergus is this Friday, January 16th, at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex versus the Wingham Ironmen.
