WELLINGTON NORTH – Two individuals charged following incident in Mount Forest.
On February 7, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of an altercation at an address in Mount Forest.
As a result of the investigation, a 60-year-old from Mount Forest, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault – spousal
As a result of the investigation, a 50-year-old from Mount Forest, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault – spousal
Both accused were released from police custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on a later date.
Neither victim sustained any reported injuries.
