GUELPH – A businessman in Fergus convicted of sexually assaulting a waitress on two separate occasions has been sentenced to six months in jail.
Robert O’Brien received the sentence during a hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph yesterday morning, where he was also ordered to serve three years of probation.
O’ Brien was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault in June stemming from incidents involving a waitress at the Goofie Newfie Pub & Grill in Fergus in 2022 and 2023.
