WALKERTON – In local PJHL action Thursday night, the Fergus Whalers hit the road for a tilt against the Walkerton Capitals.
Behind solid goaltending by Trevor Wood,s the Whalers got a big win by a score of 6 to 1.
Joey Martin, with a goal and 2 helpers, helped lead the Whalers to their 11th straight victory.
Next home game is this Sunday, February 15t,h when the Whalers take on the Mitchell Hawks at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, puck drop is 3 pm.
