FERGUS – The Fergus Scottish Festival will be hosting a free public KILT SKATE this weekend, striving to regain the title as the Kilt Skate Capital of Canada.
The free public skate will take place at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex this Sunday, February 22nd, from 4:30 pm-5:30 pm.
The Blue Bonnet Lassies School of Highland Dance will perform routines.
The Fergus Pipe Band and Grand Celtic Pipe Band will perform tunes, and there will also be shortbread and hot chocolate for the skaters.
The signature flag bearers will be on the ice, and there will also be handheld Scottish flags handed out to the first 100 skaters!
