PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP – An Oakville driver is charged following a traffic stop in Puslinch.
On February 21, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting proactive traffic enforcement on Highway 6 in Puslinch, when they found a vehicle to be travelling at a high rate of speed.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old from Oakville, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt
- Speeding 50+ km/h over posted limit
A 30-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a 7-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
