GUELPH – Shortly after 6:30 a.m. this morning, a man was struck by a GO train east of the Guelph Central GO station. Emergency services responded to the scene where the man was confirmed deceased.
At this time, no further details about the victim are being released until officers are able to notify their family.
The area has reopened to traffic and service on the Kitchener GO line has resumed following completion of the on-site investigation. Visit the GO website for service updates.
