WELLINGTON COUNTY – Four local events have been recognized as part of the 2026 Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario by Festivals & Events Ontario.
- Erin Fall Fair – In 2025, the agricultural fair, hosted by the Erin Agricultural Society celebrated 175 years
- The Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games had great success in 2025, celebrating their 80th anniversary
- And two premiere music festivals: Meadows Music held at the CW Sportsplex Festival in May. Hillside Festival hosted at Guelph Lake in Guelph/Eramosa over three days in July.
This was announced during the FEO’s Annual Conference in Kitchener on February 25. The awards are given in recognition of festivals that excel in creativity, community impact, and event excellence across the province.
