JOINT MEDIA RELEASE TOWN OF MINTO & TOWNSHIP OF MAPLETON
The Town of Minto, Township of Mapleton, Wellington County, and the Career Education Council are pleased to announce the 2026 Minto-Mapleton Works event, taking place Thursday, April 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norwell District Secondary School. This event is open to the public and promises to be a dynamic hub for exploring local employment, career pathways, and volunteer opportunities across the communities of Minto and Mapleton.
Minto-Mapleton Works brings together employers, community organizations, and residents to highlight the growing range of opportunities available in the region. Attendees will be able to connect directly with businesses seeking talent, learn about career options in diverse industries, explore training pathways, and discover meaningful ways to contribute through volunteerism.
“This event showcases the strength of our local workforce and the many opportunities available right here in our rural communities,” said Amy Grose, Manager of Community Services for the Township of Mapleton. “We are thrilled to collaborate in supporting students, job seekers, and employers through this engaging and interactive experience,” noted Belinda Wick-Graham, Director of Economic and Community Development with the Town of Minto.
