FERGUS – A Fergus driver faces a licence suspension following a RIDE program.
On Wednesday afternoon at around 3:30pm, Wellington County OPP were conducting a RIDE spot check on Garafraxa Street East in Fergus.
Police say a vehicle entered the RIDE program, and officers demanded the driver provide a sample of their breath into an Approved Screening Device (ASD), which registered a warn range “alert”.
As a result, a 33-year-old from Fergus has received a 7-day driver’s licence suspension.
