GUELPH – A person was struck and killed by a GO Train in Guelph on Tuesday afternoon.
First responders were called to the Guelph Central GO station shortly after 3 p.m., and police confirmed there had been a fatal crash.
The incident caused significant travel delays during the afternoon rush hour.
At this time, Guelph Police say no further details about the victim are being released until officers are able to notify their family.
Police say the area has since reopened.
