FERGUS – In local PJHL playoff hockey action, the Fergus Whalers took to the ice for a critical Game 3 of the best-of-seven semi-final series against the visiting Frankford Huskies.
With the series tied at one game apiece, the Whalers won a hard-fought battle, coming out on top with a 6 to 3 victory.
Fergus now leads the series 2 to 1 with game 4 slated for this Saturday in Frankford.
The Whalers say a few seats are still available on the fan bus for those who may be interested in coming to cheer the boys on for a road game. Please check the team’s Facebook page for info.
The Whalers return home for game 5 this Sunday at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex.
