Press Release – Wellington County OPP, April 27, 2026.
GUELPH-ERAMOSA – An individual has been charged following an incident in Guelph-Eramosa.
On April 24, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to the report of an altercation at a residence within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old from Waterloo, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Dangerous operation
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
