GUELPH – A Grand Valley man faces luring charges following an undercover investigation in which a Guelph Police officer posed as a 13-year-old girl.
During the investigation between late March and early May, the officer chatted with an adult male who engaged them in sexually-explicit conversations, requested nude photos, and proposed a meeting at a hotel.
On Wednesday, officers executed a search warrant and arrested a 60-year-old man on two counts of luring.
Several devices were seized for further examination.
The man was held for a bail hearing.
