FERGUS – The Fergus Fibre Festival is returning to downtown Fergus this weekend, bringing a full day celebration of fibre arts and local creativity to St. Andrew Street West.
The festival is set for tomorrow, rain or shine, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and will feature fibre animals including alpacas, sheep, and angora rabbits, along with live demonstrations of spinning, weaving, lace making, and flax-to-linen processing.
Visitors can also enjoy pipe bands, a scavenger hunt, food trucks, and a marketplace featuring more than 60 local vendors and makers.
Organizers say the event is free to attend, with free parking and shuttle service available throughout the day.
