Press Release: Wellington County OPP, June 2, 2026.
CENTRE WELLINGTON – On June 1, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), alongside local paramedic and fire services, responded to the report of a collision at the intersection of Wellington Road 21/McNab Street and Wellington Road 7 in Elora, involving a 4-door sedan and a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
It is reported that the driver of the SUV collided with the other vehicle before colliding into a building. The intersection was closed for approximately one hour and has since reopened. One drive was transported to hospital with minor injuries. No charges have been laid at this point.
