GUELPH-ERAMOSA – One individual has been taken to hospital following a aircraft collision in Guelph-Eramosa.
On June 5, 2026, at approximately 1:15 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), alongside local paramedic and fire services, responded to the report of a plane collision on a runway at an airport on Skyway Drive within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
It is reported that a small general aviation aircraft collided into the runway during takeoff. One occupant in the plane sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to local hospital for assessment.
Transport Canada has been notified of the collision.
