PUSLINCH – A Cambridge resident is facing intimate partner violence charges following a collision investigation in Puslinch.
On June 6, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision into a ditch on Concession Road 7 in Puslinch Township. Investigation determined the collision occurred following an altercation that took place within the vehicle involving the driver and passenger.
As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old from Cambridge, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault – spousal
- Dangerous operation
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
