HARRISTON – The Harriston Skating Club has received a $4,000 donation from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 296, thanks to proceeds raised through the Legion’s popular Catch the Ace fundraiser.
The contribution will help support the club’s ongoing efforts to provide affordable skating programs for local families while enhancing opportunities for skaters in the community.
“The Legion’s support means so much to our club and our families. Because of their generosity, we’re able to keep skating accessible and affordable, expand our coaching team, and continue improving the quality of our programs. We are truly thankful for their commitment to our community’s youth,” said HSC President Andrea McFadden.
The Harriston Legion Branch 296 says the donation reflects its continued commitment to supporting local organizations and strengthening community connections through its service initiatives.
