NEWS RELEASE WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP
(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) – Driver arrested after fleeing from police. Three charges laid.
On June 15, 2026, at approximately 1:40 p.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on proactive patrol when a traffic complaint came in from the public, alerting officers of a motor vehicle displaying signs of impaired driving. Officers quickly attended to the area, located the motor vehicle in question, and performed a traffic stop on Brock Road South within Puslinch Township to investigate.
During the initial interaction, the driver became uncooperative with police and then fled the area. The investigation continued.
On June 17, 2026, as a result of the investigation, Natalie SIDHU, a 40-year-old of Puslinch Township is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Flight from peace officer
- Dangerous operation
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
In addition to the charges, an automatic 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension was imposed.
The Wellington County OPP would like to thank the public for their call and assistance in keeping our streets safe.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on September 11, 2026.
