ELORA – At around 9 a.m. on July 10, Centre Wellington Fire Rescue (CWFR) received a call for a house fire, located on the corner of Colborne Street and Wilson Crescent.
Chief Jason Benn said crews were quickly on the scene.
A nearby Wilson resident was in his basement when he heard loud pops and bangs; upon entering the street, he saw the home’s garage completely engulfed in flames.
At this point, the fire is under control, and an investigation will commence once CWFR determines it is safe to enter the home.
