GUELPH – Guelph Police is investigating after an altercation downtown early Friday that sent one man to a Hamilton trauma centre.
At around 4:50 a.m. emergency services were called to a business on Macdonell Street for reports of a man with a laceration to his chest.
Police say the man told officers he had been injured during an altercation with an unknown man outside a business near Wyndham Street North and Cork Street East.
The victim was transported to a Hamilton trauma centre for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
